Privacy notice

Last updated: 18 July 2026

In plain terms

  • This website sets no cookies and doesn't track you across the web.
  • We use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) that tell us which pages are popular — not who you are.
  • If you email us, we keep your message for as long as we're dealing with it.
  • We never sell personal data, and there are no advertising networks here.
  • Each Radical Tech Team project has its own privacy notice — this one covers this website.

Who we are

This website, radicaltechteam.co.uk, is operated by Amphora Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in the United Kingdom [Company No. XXXXXXXX]. Amphora Solutions Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office [ICO Reg. ZAXXXXXX].

You can contact us about anything in this notice at privacy@radicaltechteam.co.uk.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the radicaltechteam.co.uk website only. Radical Tech Team projects are separate tools and services, and each project publishes its own privacy notice describing the data it processes. If you use a project — including our Team Sign-in (single sign-on) service — please read that project's notice; it, not this one, governs that processing.

What we collect, and why

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host on our own infrastructure. It records aggregate information about visits: pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location at country/region level. Umami does not use cookies, does not build visitor profiles, and does not follow you to other websites. IP addresses are not stored; they are used transiently to derive the aggregate statistics above.

Why: to understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — running an effective website in the least intrusive way available.

Emails you send us

If you email hello@ or privacy@radicaltechteam.co.uk, we receive your email address, anything you include in the message, and hold the correspondence while we deal with it.

Why: to reply to you, and — if you're volunteering — to get you involved. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us); where you're taking steps to join the community, preparing for that relationship.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (including IP address, requested page and time) used solely for security monitoring and fault diagnosis, and deleted on a rolling basis.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests — keeping the service secure and working.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data, and this site carries no advertising or third-party tracking. The website and its analytics run on infrastructure operated by Amphora Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom. Where we use suppliers to help run our services, they act under contracts consistent with UK GDPR, and we do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep things

  • Analytics: aggregate statistics only, retained indefinitely (they identify no one).
  • Correspondence: kept while we're dealing with your query or while you're involved with the community, then deleted within 12 months of the relationship or query ending.
  • Server logs: deleted on a rolling basis, typically within 90 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased in many circumstances;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format where applicable.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@radicaltechteam.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how this website uses personal data, we'll update this notice and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the home page.
